Hooray Hooray it a holly holiday!

Still don't know if Boss will approved of my leave. I'm applying for this Friday and next Tuesday. If approved, five days break.. Also apply for next Friday. Logic or not to hope Boss will approved everyone leave application. Unless I am the last one applying .. so have to jaga ofis.

But then, even if we are on leave, we still have lots ok not lots but tons of work to be completed.... Tommorow will know approved or not.

Karaoke

Karaokeing tonight at Redbox Sg Wang.. End up joining as member. Weekend non member has to pay RM40 per head, but to become a member u pay RM50 and get the next visit free. Might as well become a member. The buffet was so so only.

I have to admit that i am tone deaf.
Ruining songs. I will try to memorize more of fauziah latif songs. I think I can sing DIA well hehehe and Ramlah Ram. Pathetic but what can one do.

Pearls! Pearls! Pearls

Today and yesterday, I've been busy with Chinese trade delegates in PWTC. Hehehe buys haggling for lowest price. Think the chinese guy probably thought I am hitting on him as I keep on coming back to buy stuffs. Oh it was fresh water pearl. Price wise is affordable for me.. So bought some yesterday, brought it back..... show adik.. got a good lecture on economics from mom.. IGNORE her advice not to overspend.. Come back to work today and buy somemore for Adik.

Below, model with the strands of pearl that she managed to haggle until very very cheap! kira harga potong leher ayam laaaaaa. First day this thing will go at RM100, second day RM80. Today it was RM50. But i managed to squeeze this out of the seller hand for RM30. This will be my ala Camelia assesories (oh my gosh! when will dress like her one!!!!! wait and see laaaa )



There's more too.. like at the herb store .. they have DRIED KATAK.. I almost jump and scream.. geliiiiiiiii. Hard to describe .. its like the katak has been mummified, still retained the greenish skin and red tone.. heiii geliiiii

One shop clear all his alumnium foil, selling five for RM5, and gave me free gifts of mugs somemore. hehehe BUY! BUY! later hide from Mom laaaaa or bring back one item at a time every other day.. (Idea! idea.. pinjam from Chia, everytime go shopping sorok kat almari kasut, in case mother in law tahu dia pergi shooping free aje dapat lecture!!!)

Reporting from Lot 2##7-3 - Snatch Thief

6.30 am commotion outside the house. (Me still sleeping) Minie Mouse (our Indon helper) go outside and intai and saw one girl crying for help. MM then told my mom, and the noise woke me up.. (lama la jugak)..

Apparently a guy come from behind and try to snatch her bag, and then hit the girl face with a stick (kayu block?? don't know) So she was hurt (bloody face.. don't know how teruk she kena) and scared as the guy (small built) threaten to come again.

I call the police. They said they will come asap. By 7.15 tak datang jugak. so i go and mandi to get ready. They police arrived while I was getting ready to go to work. They probabably take the statement from the girl, her landlord took her to see a doctor...

Mom then kata from now on, the gate have to be locked at all time. In case the snatch thief marked on us as we call the police. hehehehe

so friend. if i cannot go out late at night.. you know la why..

Mamat Perasan

Kat ofis ni ada satu mamat yang perasan diri dia macho.... First meeting baru-baru ni aku tak sempat nak observe kemachoannya sebab aku tengah gelabah nak buat budget... Dah tu berpeluh-peluh. Mamat ni tengok gue, gue senyum ala ikhlas tak ikhlas aje la...

Second meeting, batu gue perasan lak mamat ni ek semacam aje...Rupa nampak ganas..brutal.. Control macho giler. Konon dia cool la, dengan sun glasses on 24 jam... ish! ish! Naik cuak aku menengoknya strutting his stuff.. Confirm.. satu mamat perasan.

Tapi tersentuh jugak hati ni sebab ingatkan dia ek lebih-lebih aje.... sampai aku takut nak cakap dengan dia. Ghupanya prihatin gak mamat ni, gue mintak sth. kat someone, staff tu kata tak de. Jauh gak jarak dia dari tempat tu, tapi dia senyap-senyap ambik benda tu bagi aku... So terpaksala aku kat tima kacih....

So moral of the story, aku tak leh lah nak menyampah sangat kat mamat perasan ni. Can dapat kepentingan nanti... hahaha

All work and no play make me stressful

Haiya.. looking at my last posting.. more than two weeks I did not update my posting.

So what's new...
Berat badan bertambah..tak lah banyak but body tak setone dulu (hahahha as if la its tru) from hariraya do, open house here and there.. Then got training somemore.. Sure got makan-makan one, so eat somemore...

Still didn't take rice, but all kuih, kentang I took over the period of one half month period after raya. So from now on I will start my pantang la.

So today, I'm redoing my two days of eggs only meal plus WATER WATER WATER 3 litre of cold water. But wednesday ada makan-makan .steamboat at kak long. Hopefully by then the indicator will turn pink, so i can makan meat.

Kitten - Siamese & Persian

Today we went to Ros's place for open house in Sungai Buaya, Rawang.

The day that our house suddenly dissapeared!

Well not our house per say.. but letters was not delivered to the house as our house number does not exist anymore.

Apparently MPS did a rezoning exercise and giving us a new house number. We did not received any noticed to changed address, and MR postman decided that our house does not exist and did not delivered our letter.

Mom stopped Mr Postman, and he asked us to go and to Gombak post office to see if our letters are still there? DUH!!! if previously u have sent the letters to the same mail box, at least u can have the courtesy to inform "Makcik, surat makcik alamat patut tukar.. kami tak boleh hantar" ..Also claim dia sudah masukkan notis to change address before raya.... NOPE we did not received it. Nor did our neighbour.. ONE makcik, phone kena potong hari ni, pasal tak bayar bill, ye la kalau tak dapat bill camna nak bayar (depa bukan ada internet nak bayar online!!)

I called 1 300 300 300 -- marah-marah la sebab yelah surat tak dapat..this is the number u call if u have any problem with ur mail service provider... They really take ur complaint seriously.. Nasib baik tak call hotline malay mail.. nanti reporter plak carik...

To shorten the story, I go down to Gombak, filled out a form, collect our letters. IT must be about seventy if not hundred letters. HAd a long talk with the post master. he explained why, what, how... So things kira settle la .. Adik took pictures will post it as evidence hehehehe

True enough all the credit card bills skrg semua ada RM5 charges for late payment... GERAM ke tak tuuuuuu

Imagine.. now we have to call and write to all banks. agencies etc to inform them of

the change of address.. by one number from Lot ####-6A to Lot####-3. Our old address does not exist anymore...........

The one that got away...

Last night, after doing some shopping at Gergasi, a young cat follow us, so manja that I decided that we should bring him (later we found out he is a she) home with, so the ride was full with screaming as the kids feel geli and scared that the stranged cat will scratched them.. btw the cat looks dirty but yet so cantik...

So we called the cat Giant, with Ian as the glamour name.. I thought we will clean the cat later, see the vet so on...

This morning the cat still there, but by midday when I called home. No more cat. Perhaps someone just like us, thought that the cat is so cute and so manja that they decided to adopt (catnap) the cat.

This is not the first time someone catnap my cat.. I remember Comel years back when I'm still in primary school, ada anak orang kaya take it.... Even when Comel sees me and want to come to me, the rich kid denies that the cat is mine..... Sob sob sob..

2. Niki and adik beradik -- USM cat during Matriculation... I sort of adopted Niki from baby . once Niki fell from two storey hostel.. and survived...

Kucing that belong to Nasha - this is the one that I jaga when Nasha went back for holiday, I had to clean kilos and kilos of tommy ruff (the cheapest ikan in adelaide) to feed him, in return the whole time I was in ADelaide I am allergic to all sort of fish that has scale.. so i can only makan skates (ikan pari)
4. Kucing rumah abang sebelah (rumah kat dover garden) ... so penuh dgn bulu, so short kaki.. I should have a picture of him
5. Alien - kucing Chah.. expensive kucing.. only alley cat, from adelaide, the ugliest in the litter, so we called him alien, chah was so attached to him, that she brings him back to malaysia, and the one way flight cost a bomb .....
6. Abang Belang - kucing at gombak (years ago )
7. Cret and Bret - the kucing that mom try to get rid by sending it to pasar sentol, mom then had nightmares that she ask my dad to pungut balik... had to bring them to the vet... The kitten have diarhea - ceret beret .. hence the name cret and bret..

How to get rid of apes (beruk!)

My parent has a piece of land, a size of sekankang kera (pun intended) in Negeri Sembilan. Yesterday my cousin drop by, and we talked about how the fruits (mangostein, rambutan, cempedak) was eaten by hundreds apes. One week you see the rambutan a bit yellowish, the next day, all that left is the outer skin. So now we are faced with this problem.. how to get rid of all the apes.

Adik told us of a way!!!!!
Us: "How to get rid of so many apes?"
Adik: "Paint one of the ape!!!"
US:??????
Adik:"Apes move around in group, if one of them is of different color, he still wants to join the other apes, but the rest of the apes, seeing the painted apes will run away"
Us: hahahahahaha A bit of problem.. how to catch a beruk, ask him politely to stand still while we painted him..... TRapped one, and sprayed it with yellow or green paint..The ape will probably hold grudges against us, and serang us later hahaha

This could work, but how shall one go about doing it is yet to be seen.

So the apes problem is still there.... Any ideas? Err can ask the kids to pakai ape costumes and chase the apes away.

Finally meet up with Jothy for yesterday. What a luck, Galaxie magazine having free screening of scary movies. As we are there early, tengok GRUDGE... off course I scream .. tapi tak la takut sangat.. exactly like cerita Ju-on.

Planned to see flight plan.. dah habis, so catch WAR of the WoRLD.. memang tension dengar si DAKOTA Fanning screaming in the movie... At the scene where people looking at the EMP storm or at the tripod before being zapped. Remind me of tsunami video and also the time when I was in Indiana sometimes back in 1995 kot.

First day of arriving, TV declare a tornado warning, we are suppose to stay in the basement of the apartment. Well I'm new there, and know no one, I told myself, just look out for the tornado and when it approaching the apartment from the window or TV, i will lari down if one datang. Off course I didn't see any tornado coming.

The next day, I was told, the tornado come from the opposite way .. but of course we are not in the path of the tornado. Feel so BODOH too, for being too smart.

btw I am still confused of the story .. what actually killed the tripod? birds or bacteria?

Ayam percik and rendang kerang!

I haven't been cooking real food since I come back from Penang. However, since mom had her eye operation (replaced lense) I've been trying my hand on cooking.

Simple chicken soup.. its delicious ..

Fry chopped garlic and thinly sliced young ginger until aromatic, add water, add potatoes(sliced) let it boiled, add chicken & salt, reduce the heat and let it simmer until cooked.

I seldom use onion or shallot in my cooking, garlic is enough

And yesterday i cook roast chicken and rendang kerang.. Unfortunately the trusted spy camera tertinggal kat office so no picture

Roast chicken ( i made two)
Preheat oven at 190 degree celcius (ahha i don't know the oven tu guna celcius or farenheit)

Pound or Blendered dry peppercorn coarsely. Set aside first. Pound young ginger and heaps of garlic. Wash chicken. Combined the pounded mixture plus salt with a little bit of cooking oil (butter can be used too) Rub all over chicken.. no need to poke hole in the poor chicken body la.. sudah mati ..

Roast until golden.. yummy.. The oily dripping can be turn into tasty gravy too..

REndang kerang.
4 kilogram of kerang, rebus and take out the isi only.. Lucky we have Mak Mini to do this, else, my nails will be ruined.

Santan - for diet purpose, i kotak is enough la.
2 tablespoon of kerisik kelapa (fry fresh grated coconut until brown and then pound until it produce oil)
Salt and one tablespoon of gula melaka (or gula kabong)

To be pounded (blendered)
A handful of dry red chilies (soak it first)
a handful of bird eye chili (pedas ni)
Tiga serai
satu buku garlic.
one big red onion....... all blend until fine.

CAra..
Put 3 tablespoon of frying oil, fry the pounded ingredient, until berbau wangi, add santan and kerisik plus the gula kabong. Can add one slice of asam keping too.. stir stir stir.. then add the kerang... stir stir until thick..

Sliced daun kunyit finely and add.

Then I asked MAk mini to watch over the fire and I catch my Korean serial aahhaha. So she jaga until the rendang thicken. walla its done

Verdict

Roast chicken - tender and juicy, need a bit more of salt (puasa cannot taste la) chef of all cook aka my mom, said should be more crispy etc etc... The kids love it.

Rendang kerang - look better and taste better than what adik buy at pasar malam. Mind you for two sendok its RM4. Again tak cukup masin. but overall good.

HAHAHA chef shilla is emerging to take over chef of all cook place as champion in cooking.

1. Torturing a hapless lizard.
2. The eldest Abang Wa instructed Body to take a knife.
3. Body took the knife and give it to Bang Chik.
4. Abang Chik severed the lizard head with the knife.

so their punishment, Onn asked them to stand up straight with hand holding their ears. Off course Opah masuk campur and asked Onn not to do that to her cucu... NAik lemak la bebudak tu, anyway.. I think they had to stand up for at least twenty minutes before I asked them to mandi so that can get ready to break fast and then off they go to tuition.

p/s we do not know which knife is used to cut the lizard in two.

Relocated

This is the view from my new office at PWTC, actually the Menara UMNO. I have some reservations about moving here, but what can you do. Kalau boss suruh, kena pergila. The cheapest parking is at hentian putra, RM3 per entry, and walking distance from carpark to level four to take lift, already take a good ten minutes.. mind you ada stairs lagi...

So I have to leave extra early, so that i am able to log in on time. Dahla nak on pc to login for work takes at least five minutes sebab notebook slow to boot up... all this can contribute to stress.

Oklah I'm sleepy, but wanna finished my reports ASAP.

Sonic and cutie taking a nap. Cannot take a clear picture of them. They are very active creatures.. I am unable to hand handle them. How I bath them, put a small bucket of water, add the special shampoo and sort of throw them inside.. swirl the bucket (yeah!! its cruel, but what i can do.. they starts to smell) a couple of time, and use tissues to dry them and put back inside the habitrail.

Healthy Meals - err Hearty Meals

If anyone ever wonder how my meals look like. Here a pic.
This consist of mashed eggs with butter, pepper and salt on some crispy salad. YUMMY!
And fried beef in butter. Makes a filling meal for myself. And of course I always go for a second.

In KL for a month and no life at all......

Great! It has been a month since I'm back in KL..and what so pathethic is I don't have any life after work nor over the weekend.

I haven't meet up with my KL friends. I promise them I will catch up with them as soon as I am settled with my job .... but ... by the time I got home from work, I am too tired .... and the only way out from my place is jammed packed until even eight thirty...

And weekend, is the time I catch up with my sleep hehehe Anyway two weekend was spent makan ketam gumuk.. (FATTY CRAB!! yummy!!) with che wang and family.. I should be unpacking my stuff. The thirty odd boxes still remain unpack. When will I unpack.. god knows... Good things about this is, I only have a few clothes to go around for work.

Talking about baju, most of them are too loose. Now I can wear Adik's and Ojot's baju... untung!!! No need to do baju. Need to drop a size or two before I can fit into Ojot's jeans .. I will I will.. hopefully by year end. Well if I start exercising....... naaaaaa

Hectic life!

My life is getting a bit hectic nowdays. Work keep pilling up. New duties and responsibities. At least I have no time to feel bored at work.

Frequency of meeting and the length (2 hours minimum each time) can drained my energy easily. I normally went to bed early so i can wake up early and leave home early so that i can avoid the traffic.

The four kids act like hamsters at home, running around making lots of noise and fighting with one another, exchanging words... The peaceful life has gone. Why on earth I leave freedom and peace in penang for this chaotic life in KL... Oh ya... fillial daughter... i'm here for my mom, or is it the other way around.. Hehehe already asked mom to cook me fried chicken tommorow for dinner..

The female hamster finally has a name.. Cutie.. and I think she is pregnant now.
She is not as active as the time we bring her home. And Sonic normally keep a distance from Cutie..

New addition to the family...

My mom got two new grandson... two hamsters. Went to Medan Idaman for some banking stuff, and I saw this new petstore with lots of hamster actively running around and i thought i just had to have them....

I come back later at night, and bought a pair of hamster, the male is named sonic, but no name for the female hamster. They cost RM23 each...



You can spend RM17 for a cage. But not this MAMA, I had to go for the upmarket one... HABITRAIL .. i choose the playground theme, basic cost RM75, but I add up stuff, next month will get more attachment so we can expand it to include a safari tower.. a maze ... yupp this will cost a bit, but i have convince the kids to give me rm10 each month to buy the kits.

Zoo Negara ny Night

Guess what did I did last night?

Taking the kids to Zoo Negara at night. So there was three adult, Adik, Mak Mini (Indon helper) and me, plus the three kids. The younger Amir tak pergi sama.

I have brought them (the kids) to the zoo on several occasions, even night time, andI enjoy the trip especially seeing the hippopotomous (aka cik badak air) at the zoo.

Last night it was fun and adventourous at the same time. We are the only group with powerful maglites. I brought the monster of maglite, can see the moon one hahaha. Anyway take the zoo train, saw the elephant, then stop at the bird areas.Walk into the aviary. We are the only one stop there, the rest of people just stay on the train... We managed to see burung undan (kingfisher?) closely .. then walked to the tiger den, they were active at night. We were lucky, a worker is feeding the tiger, nama dia maybumi, the tigers are sponsored by maybank so their name ada maywira etc, i think they have three of four tigers. Tiger eats 7 kilos of meat per day.. wow!!!

Then we board the train to Savannah Area.. This is where the adventure begins. Again although there were many visitors visiting the zoo at night, but they seems to be more comfortable riding the train than walking and seeing the animal, we choose to be adventurous and stop there to see the camel, leopard..the ape center was close,in some areas it is pitch black.

So first the camel, and I confidently told my sisters we can make a round to go to see leopard. Mana tahu its a dead end, It was completely gelap but remember i had the monster maglite.... At a corner, I fell, because where normally they have curved curb, suddenly theres a portruding box.... but we continue walking, only then I realised its a dead end... and reverse back, at the same time the voice oh uu uuu uuu (gruntling sound made by the apes) can be heard, and suddenly theres a frantic scream (scarry!!) ... the kids all lari, .. Mak Adik with her bad knees was left behind.. Ali (the four years old) was so scared that he wants to go home immediately.. crying takutttt takutttttttt takuttttt..

We then walk back to the savannah waiting for the train, then we saw a group of arabs and family going the same way we did before hahaha so we just wait to see.. true enough the same piercing scream can be heard ....

Well enough of the zoo, i recommend people to go there. Worth every ringgit u pay.. adult ten ringgit and kids five. I planned to be a life member or volunteer in the zoo,,, minding hippo. WE Could be a great attraction at the zoo together.

59,999 to 60,000 milage

Thursday morning, raining heavily. Caught in the jam. See the odometer and I realised lil' kancil has travelled 59,999 km, as I was caught in the jam, I take out the powerful super duper spy camera and take photos la... But it takes like half an hour for the odometer to changed to 60,000 as the we were crawling in the rain.

Fed up waiting for the notebook, I bring my notebook to work. Guess what, I am connected to the world now.. Tak lagi rasa tension, but off course need to limit the time spend surfing ehehehe

The speed also not bad, I hope they give me the latest notebook.. DREAM ON!!!

Good luck vs. bad luck

Today is the fourth day of working at the new place.
Brief details of my karma ..

First day 1/9/05 : Leave home 7.15, takut caught in the jam. First day wearing the daisy duck tudung... True enough, it takes me about an hour to reach office. First tought its a twenty km journey.. New place, were told, that a notebook will be give (so far so good), do nothing, no room yet, no phone,no briefing as HR involved with accident. I'm so bored, sure la, after all in penang, i am always on the move, now bosan bosan..

Going back from work, sesat.. I took the wrong turn, but oklah. took me 45 minutes, for a twelve km journey.. itu hightway.. thru jalan kuching.

Night - when to pump gas, and what a day.. lost my wallet with more than 1K, I supposed to pay all the credit card bills.. That night spend a frantic hours to call all banks to report lost of atm and credit card. Yupp I got more than ten banks to call................ bad karma begins

Second day 2/9/05 : do nothing, take half day off to report lost of everything at the police station, do ic and license. Cuti tanpa gaji, there goes my 1/2 day salary.. banyak oii we all work five days week... Lucky policewoman is efficient. I think I lost a kilo in weight (mostly thru sweating) as I parked my car at maju junction, and walk to balai polis campbell, then to kwsp building to get cash, then back to pertama kompleks to do license, wait before u can do license u need ur temporary ic, so i walked back to maju junction .. lucky i took the number earlier..

Third day 5/9/05: by 7.30 I'm out from home, I already knew how the traffic system work, no need to go early, by eight i'm already sitting in my workstation.. Yupp no room yet..Oh ya, morning, we have some sort of assembly, i think its a once a month thing.. Guess what, I need to learn jalur gemilang and keranamu songs, we sing 3 songs.. Then do nothing.. I'm so bored..

Yesterday, go back ikut bulatan pahang, half an hour... eh not bad.

Today 6/9/05: do nothing again, but find out where i can have internet access during lunch hour.. so here i am...... Oh I need to attend a workshop later at two thirty. So at least i got to do something.

btw distance from my place to office is only 11km tops thru jalan sentul.... so i hope can save on petrol.

Saturday night,
Steamboat at adele. Adele, Tat Chi, Christine, raphael and me...The food and company was marvelous especially entertaining Lttle Miss Drama Queen, Renee. She is adorable...

I like take more than six bowl of soups .. which is more than what is allowed under the diet plan. No soup, tomyam is the biggest enemy. But at the end of the day. I'm happy eating....

Farewell lunch - GO

Third farewell lunch,
Venue Pinang room. 8 people. Menu, Chicken in kunyit sauce, chicken with abalone mushroom, teriyaki fish, mixe vegies and tom yam. Not bad. Kenyang..

Later this afternoon got steamboat at adele's. Tommorow lunch, steamboat at parkroyal. Now I got to complaint that too much food but too little time.
Hopefully planned to go to the View for the last time will materialised, I will eat at least a dozen oysters hehehe baru worth the buffet price paid la.

SOBA - farewell

Second farewell lunch, 19 people. Held at Boon Seng, Batu Maung. Menu was siakap steam teochew style, risply fried mantis prawn,sotong indian style (too much curry [powder), clam in special sauces, fried chicken with chilli sauce, seafood claypot,some sayur and fruits... the bill come to RM150 per table. The food was awesome compared to the eight course chinese dinner kat equatorial time siti norhaliza dinner show tu..

OG - Orange Giraffe

Amit was hospitalised for four days. Suspected dengue or malaria. Kucmon asked me to buy 100 plus, penat aku bawak two 1.5liter bottles, berat and then he cannot take it as gastrik problemm.. Tensi.

Doctor said liver inflamation. I blamed all the supplements he likes to take..

Anyway the next day Milah and family from KL came. I brought OG to accompany him.. Well don't know if its a giraffe or a horse. Get another one for myself.

Farewell lunch - USM

First farewell lunch was held at the rumah tetamu, USM.
Lunch comprises of kari siakap, telur dadar, sayur campur, sup bayam, daging merah, and ulam-ulaman. Hosted by Che Wang, Auntie and Intang.

14 guests, unfortunately I had to rush back for the extra class at two thirty. Food was awesome and more farewell will be given, until i am finally off from this island. Kesian diet ku.... hancus.

Growing Pains - The Teenagers Sitter

Well its the time of the year again... Got to babysit the two kids err now they are teenagers shall we call it teenagers sitting... whatever! This time, thanks goodness only for six days. But sending one kid to school in the wee hour is not good for one health.. aiyo I am so sleepy by ten am.

Kids have monster appetite, last night, they had sotong kangkong, kebab and I bought them 1/4 chicken roast each, and they finished everything in one sitting.. BUT they are as slim as stick.. Some people have all the luck.. but cannot say also la, Adik used to be so skinny we call her LIDI, PAPAN.. and many more and see how Thick she has become since the day of lidi.. Ok back to the original story . the kids Today the kids want SUSHI, and they can really eat ...

Funny to see how weird (hahaha) their taste in guys .. I couldn't believe when they described one of the guy as macho.. oh come on, the guy is far from macho (not only by my definition but I am sure the rest of us adult woman... ) I thought to myself, did our taste in man were that weird when we were young..

Once I'm back in KL will try to search for my old school photos and see if my taste in boys are as teruk as these girls taste hehehee Pray hard, its not...

Anyway I will have good reminder as for the next few days whenever we all go out, I'll be hearing a lot of these remarks, cute .. macho .. hensem guys.. And the kids are quite pretty and welcomed attentions from guys.. so I have a handfull to do watching the kids from straying.. Sleep at ten thirty, no calls after ten, no boys, no driving etc.....

I am so geram and panas hati of my own "Stupidity", "ignorance" of the whole process renewing one's passport... Passport Malaysia Antarabangsa (PMA) of mine gonna expired in March 22nd. And heck you will not be able to travel if your passport has less than six months to expired. So clever of me .. now that I am a bit free.. why don't I renew it ... Bad mistake..... I renew on the 4th of August, and didn't noticed until today.. That they treat my renewal as new application..i.e. starting date of 5 years is from the date i apply.. I want clarification.. but as Saturday the lazy bums are on holidays... (come on u have to agree with me on this.... imagine banks or companies having the systems of issuing numbers become u can be served.. and they attitudes sucks man!! I can go on and on due to this panas hati!!) i cannot call them to ask ..

One.. panas hati, I thought they will not replaced the old PMA, just renew it just like before.. they required photo, being on impulse, i took the instant photo, sumpah! it look like a mugshot of a gila woman ... I thought, lantakla, they are not going to use that picture.. HOW WRONG I AM..... new PMA, and new mugshot... SAKIT SAKIT HATI KU>......

Two .. money wasted on the passport renewal.. the portion lapsed without being used.. How come? Ok the story ..I noticed that my new PMA expiry date is on 4th August 2011... heck.. shouldn't they renew it the way we renew licence when they should take into account the unexpired portion of my passport... Asked my colleague and they said, this has always been the way.. BODOH OR NOT . they are cheating on us..

If this mathematic is correct..

First passport nearly five yeara ago.. cost us $300 - this exclude the copy writer fees $5 ke or more (Amit insist on having the old chap completed the form for us then when we perfectly able to write ourself.. of course he is short sighted laaa!!), divide that by 5 years, so about $60 per year... hmm half year cannot use.. so that is $30 wasted... (a full tank of gas my my kancil - kalau ikut harga tahun 2000 la hahaha)

SEcond time - 2 days ago - cost $300 - includes the first passport six months of uselessness so that is $30 wasted again kan . ok double counting not count.., still wasted la.. what about the last six months of the second PMA life waster another $30. And me stupidly renew it when my PMA still has 8 months life.. rugila dua bulan lagi ten ringgit...

So if this is correct I lost from $600 paid, $60 from the less than six months cannot use.. plus $10 because I renew it earlier.. total $70 .. heck it is a lot more than 10% rugi...... who untung.. the government laaaaaaaaa .. sapa rugi? aku laaaaaaaaaaaaaaa SAKIT SAKIT.....

HMM has people ever complaint about this unfair practice ?.. where are all the lawyers?? fight for we the humble and helpless citizens .... BENCI BENCI....

Well .. she sings 6 or 7 songs... The interaction between her and the audience was very very good... So I have to say she has good communication skills. And it helps to get "lawak" people on stage - Prof. Masyur and also that "Mawi cha cha" on stage.. I think all the people had fun 100X. Even MJ gives a thumb up!!! I pun laaaaaaa

Najihah aka Deb also naik pentas and was so good in singing bukan cinta biasa . four years old and tahu lyrics.. gue pun tak reti.

The food .... considering the price... supposely the 8 course chinese dinner is priced at $60.. what u got.. hmmm the hot n cold appetizers, sze chuan soup, chicken n mango sauce, butter prawn, fried sea bass in thai sauce, brocolli n mushroom, fried rice n sago pudding...... so pathetic la.. so cheap.. imagine people are paying $100 for the normal seating, and $500 for VIP seating.. its a rip off.. tapi tu la org kataaaaa bayaran for CT need to be factor in.. How much she is paid that night? I know.. but I'm not telling... hahahahaha

Actually she deserve every cents of it la... I actually had a good time watching and snapping pictures of her ... Actually kucmon punya request... He will blew his top when he saw my photo with CT hahaahah

Bonus - Managed to sneak in after press conference - FMT punya deal laaa and got to take close up pictures and taking photo with her .. It is so infectious ... you know I'm not a fan.. but I have to say something kan... well words that come out.. "You are a nice person!" how's that for compliment, so lame kan...

First S - CT
Attend a forum titled, strategic positioning of a diva - a case study of siti norhaliza in USM. Saw so many faces that I want to avoid, but what to do, I am that popular. Anyhow the seating was very very strategic, hahaha tula kawan lagi dengan people who organise this forum, i need to turn 45 degree to my left, to have a full view of CT, and our distance was less than two metres.. she is pretty!! kecik je dia nih... Kalau I bswak camera boleh tangkap clear gile...


Second S - MR S of SSS
I was at SSS earlier waiting for Intan to go to the forum... tapi mana tahu Mr S did not drive his trademark car, tapi bawak kancil .. I only knew his car but want to meet the S in person, having bumped into him once but did not give it a second look.. After hearing from Che Wang and Juli of his charmingness.. I am eager .... Intan told me, hey its S, tapi sudah missed the opportunity..

Anyway the highlight of today is I managed not only to meet with the elusive S of SSS. I also managed to talk and joked around with him.. He is someone that when u meet for the first time you feel you can connect with them... Aku tak la fake macam chewang or juli hahaha What a pity he will be away for three weeks and in five weeks time, I'm no more in Penang, or things can get interesting HAHAHAH yeah right!!! (said intan) Keep 'em guessing..


Then of to Rosram to have lunch with Amit - he's going back to Gurun..Sian dia kena viral infection deman, muntah etc semalam.. For lunch Aku jadi kucing, makan ikan goreng and ayam nasik ayam.. Kucmon joined us later tengah makan Non mai.. join us, and of course la lunch on him. ASked him to belanja me to go to see CT's concert tonight in EQ, tak mau plak dia.... takut bini kot? hahahah Kucmon mesti bengang sebab aku takjadi pi konsert CT malam ni, kamera dah bagi suruh tangkap gambar cT dari hujung kaki ke hujung rambut.. nampak gayanya gambar kaki and gambar rambut aku le yang kena tangkap malam niiiii

Eggstraordinary and eggsciting!!!

I ran out of ideas of how to prepare eggs for breakfast and lunch. To start with, the ingredients are limited. I am allowed to take the following (combinations).

1. Egg 2-3 per
2. Butter or ordinary cooking oil (lagi banyak the merrier!!)
3. Pepper
4. Salt
5. A bit of chili api
6. Cheese

How can u make a wholesome meals with the above ingredients (no other ingredients are allowed) ????/

1. Plain Omelletes - eggs, butter and salt .. beat until fluffy and fried in butter or oil. It didn't taste as good as the gerai tom yam's telor dadar.

2. Mashed eggs - boiled eggs... theres a way to cook an egg, place eggs in water, start fire, once boiled, wait for three minutes if u likes the yolk softy and creamy.. removed and put in cold water... peeled, put a dollop or two butter and mashed.... Yummy.. this remain a favorite..

3. Sunny side up - telor mata kerbau - telor mata sapi .. I can only take a maximum of two eggs at one go, and thats it..

4. omellete with cheese - yucks

5. mashed eggs with cheese - bearable

6. Eggs on eggs crepes - hahaha well what u do..
a - Prepare ur mashed eggs - plain or cheesy
b - beat one egg until fluffy, and make thin omellete - so it looks like a crepe
c - filled ur crepe with the mashed eggs, roll, twist. and enjoy..

7. Eggs and butter salad
yeah just plain boiled eggs - sliced or quartered ... melt heaps of butter as dressing... pour over the salad... and chow down..

8. 3/4 boiled eggs with salt and pepper .. euwwwwwww

I had my blood pressured monitor, I'm doing fine.. no problemo..do not worry about your cholestrol level, the doctor said even if u take ten eggs a day, it will not harm you.... Maybe can use the designer eggs.. yeah the one that is cholestrol free, enriched omega 3 etc...

But this song sure is catchy ... I've been driving up and down to Kuala Lumpur for the past two weeks. Good news people.. I got a new job in K. L. So hopefully latest by October I will start my new job. Now have to wait to negotiate my notice. They said three months and I want to leave early..Oh no cuti ada lima hari ajeeee.. bad luck.

The new place. nearby from gombak.. kat PWTC area tu... Jam memang la jam, but I think bearable kot.. aiyo Sentul area .. boleh pengsan jam dia tu..

Five days week... salary pun ok.... so I am happy for myself.. and as I said this is my mom rezeki, and of course as God's will. I told her two years after my dad passed away, I would return back to KL to accompany her ... aiya me fillial daughter... CANGGIH manggih laaa

Max Riders or Masked Riders!!!

I'm going back to KL on the fifteen, last saturday call Abang We and Abang Chik, and asked them what they want as presents.. Abang We said he wants HotWheel track.. WHAT?? Didn't I bought u one last time, mahal plak tu, dengan kereta-kereta lagi.. bayangkan kalau satu empat ringgit, sorang dapat tige keta and ada berapa orang EMpat orang... bengkok.. and what happen, I jumpa one piece of the track kat luar and entah mana-mana lagi.. no way man..

Then he said (what I heard la) Max Rider card la... which i don't know anything about, he said his friend bought it from Jaya Jusco for only RM12 sth.. then I said ok... Abang Chik wants GUESS WHAT!! new game for gameboy... mak aiii mintak maap.. too expensive... And being clever he said.. ok laaa I want new game for the playstation, tapi 3 games.. Mak adik bought tiga games for RM15.. see he will dapat more than abang we, but of course playstation they all main sama-sama..

Budak-budak ni, tak boleh harap.. belila benda mahal mana.. semuanya punah..Baik aku bawak pergi zoo tengok badan and monyet. but then they always complaint that Mak Ila tak de idea lagi zoo zoo zoo. Nak bawak Time Square and Petroscience.. mahal, lagipun dah bawak them twice to Time Square and Petrosains.

Back to max riders card.. penat aku pi Parkson and also toys'rus ... tak jumpa because i was looking for trading card. and i did not asked around la what it is.. Only now i know he wants MASKED RIDERS trading card.. now kena cari balik, else balik nanti pi Jaya Jusco la cari.. So after this Bukit Jambul la to look for the PS II game..

How you deal with rude kids? Will you treat them as you treat adults?

These kids will be adult themselves soon, and yet they haven't learned some manners at home if not at school. Whose to blame? Parent, siblings, friends, teachers or the kid themselves? Do kids see people around them being rude, and feel this is an acceptable behaviour. A case of monkey see, monkey do.. Its ok when mom scold the maid, so its ok that i scold the maid too!!! Its ok when dad being rude to the driver, ahha I can be rude too, its normal. its acceptable. This not to say, that only rich kids are rude ...

Even pets can be trained? Why can't we teach kids to have manners.

What can I say! iIt is beautiful!

Last night attend The Orchestra Academy of the Berlin Philharmonicd, with Putry. Last minute thing, as Chor got tickets from someone who cannot make it, and she too cannot make it... And as choice of partner (Putry je available)I had no choice hehehe as long weekend, all the gang has make plan and gone back to their hometown.

Back to the Orchestra .. 14 pieces assemble playing the familiar Beethoven, Strauss, Bhrams, Verdi and more .. and they are very talented bunch of people.. Compared to MPO (based on few shows of MPO that I attended at the Philharmonic at the twin tower... shame shame shame...)did not sound as good. At Dewan Sri Penang, without the latest sound systems, The Orchestra Academy sounds canggih already... A bit sad as there is no standing ovation for them..... they deserve a standing ovation, but then maybe the Penang crowds has lost their desire to stands.. the clappings are LOUD!!! hmmmm

There are times that I felt, that I have made (very) wrong decisions in life, make costly mistakes, but I rarely (if never) regretted the choice I have made.

I can't stand this type of people especially if they are guys...
Lembap, tembel, slow coach .......Mintak maap banyak-banyak... kalau hensem macam brad pitt (takle hensem pun to me!) pun tapi kalau cik Mbab gue akan delete dari list hahahaha

Semalam tension sebab terpaksa deal dengan mamat yang lembab... Nak digest instructions dari aku pun macamlah aku talk nuclear science dengan depa.. ish ish ish Sabar ajela sudin...

kekadang hilang sabar aku kat dema ni sampai terpikir.. ada gak minah yang minat ngan mat slow macam ni.... Err ok ok jodoh pertemuan di tangan tuhan hahahaha Mungkin ada benda lain yang depa buat slow yang menarik minat pempuan tu aku tak tahu la .. muahaahaaaaaa

Haven't got time to story about the travel in Bali.... Another trip coming...
Me and mom are going to MEDAN ... Feel I should take her somewhere while she still sihat and can walk and shop hehehe

She been talking about going to Medan or Hong Kong. To me going to Hong Kong would be better as Uncle and Kak Teh will be able to bring her shopping kat whatever tempat in Hong Kong. Medan trip will only be the two of us, and the last time I was there was ages ago... 10 years ago..

itu kentang dari dari US - russet potato are used
itu daging -- kita guna daging australia jugak banyak tender
dan itu bawang --- tarak guna bawang india tapi itu holland punya bawang
Tepung cap sauh -- mesia punya barang la
Margerine - naturel
Minyak mengoreng - sunflower oil mak aiii
and rempah kari tarbus malaysia jugak mari

Imagine tak reach jambatan pulau pinang mamat dua ekor tu dah habiskan dua ploh bijik karipap... Sumpeh samada karipap aku sedap giler atau dema tu lapar gileeer tak breakfast lagi

An Ode to Tok Lebaq

Tok Lebaq has left us on the early morning of Sunday 9th 2005. I was in Gurun driving to Perlis with Juli, when Che Wang call to say Tok Lebaq dah tak de lagi. She tak sempat to taste the fuji apple that i kirim her.

If this has happen a week earlier .. Che Wang and me are still in Bali.

Al-fatihah for Tok Lebaq. I will post the ode that Chor writes for TL.

An Ode to Tok Lebaq

How do I remember thee? Let me count the ways:

I remember when your name was fist mentioned,
Spoken with underlying affection,
I wondered at the person,
Who could invoke such deep devotion,
From a granddaughter who otherwise seems utterly “no-nonsense”

I remember that day I met you,
Such a wonder I should tell you,
That a big, bulky name has been given,
To such a tiny graceful woman

The most profound thing I remember though,
Is how warm you welcomed us all,
So gracious a host I couldn’t ask for,
You embraced us into the family with sincere candour

I remember your eyes and seasoned face
They mirrored well-numbered journeys through time and space
Of life full of wisdom and sage
That never waned in spite of your age

Bali! here I come...

Six days journey to Bali will starts tommorow!!! Arghhhh hope this will reduce the stress built up :)

Plan to do minimal shopping, plenty of sight seing, will try to join the special cremation tour - hah! to pay USD20 for that tour... I expect to see real corpse being cremated hehehehe. The tour also include Kecak Dance show and sunset dinner at Jimbaran Bay. So converting this to RM80, I think ok laaa

Lot of art museum in UBUD, plan to spend a day there to see what its all about. Read in one of the blog, u can find real vanilla pod here.. haha already planning to buy some for myself. For what? errrrr well don't know... maybe I can make caramel hahahaha tipu! tipu!!

Will be staying at Hard Rock Hotel .. hahaha holiday in style ... I miss my backpacking days.. Backpack to Paris, Amsterdam etc . but then I was young... now sudah tua....

Well, need to go packing stuffs. What to bring? CASH CASH CASH and hehehe maggie mee!

Gila Kucing!

Memang aku suka kucing.. tapi bulan ni aku gile kucing segile gilernya...
Telah pi beli purse and beg yang ada gambar kucing..... Macam-macam kaler lagi. Yang gilernya...... aku tak de budget pun nak beli semua benda ni... tu le terkena penyakit gile shopping ni susah gak...

Pi Prangin mall Chia laki bini serta Aman, sebab nak beli lagi beg kucing (chisss ada sales pulak discount gile gile... so kiasu take over reasoning and angkut lagi .. this time tu give to people!!) and Chia telah ask satu nyonya mana nak beli patung kucing gerak-gerak tangan for ong... dia kata kat belakang kedai dia (hmmm makcik tu ada kedai banyak kaya gile tu) and gue telah terjumpa stuff toys ELMO yang memang dicari-cari selama ini... apalagi beli sampai tak cukup tanah ... Dan salesgirl tu macam tau tau aje aku ni peminat katun... semua yang dia tunjuk aku angkut so telah beli badak dua ekor, zirafah sekor, and dua elmo..Aku belikan si Aman magnet buaya.. apa budak tu nak buat dengan magnet tu tak tahu le aku hehhe cute...

Topic yang sesuai untuk post ini adalah giler segiler gilernya.... hahahaha

A new beginning!

Hari ni macam hari hari biasa je.. cuma special sikit sebab my besday. Tahun tak ramai plak yang call n sms bagi wish.. Tapi tak pe.. kite masih muda lagi. kan! kan! kan!

Bebudak kat kelas wished me happy birthday...terlupak depa semua gang friendster, so terpapar besday cake... But so nice of them laaaaa. Cayang aku kat bebudak ni walaupun kekadang depa ni semua mengetest tahap kesabaran aku ketahap maksimum.

Malam, makan ikan bakar kat Sg Batu dengan Amit n Kucmon.... Kucmon belanja .. yipeeee Lepas tu go for ice-cream mcdonald kat tesco... hahaha cheapo. Nasib baik wa tak suka makan BAskin robbins...

Tsunami New Year!!!

Nine days into 2005. Not to late to wish people Happy New Year.

2004 gone with a bang - MR TSUNAMI. There goes the new year party at Langkawi.

New year weekend, went up to Kuala Muda to see the affected area. Closed, but managed to see the "penempatan sementara" at two schools. These people, will get a new house soon. What about people in Acheh???

Reflecting the past 10 years of my life. Saddest time Losing my dad August 2003.

Scarry Time My three nephews hospitalised for dengue, one after another late 2004.

Happy moments Too many to list, must be with my family and close friends. Whats for 2005?

My resolution is to be a better person. A "hijrah"will be lovely, who knows.
