Come What May

Remember the song kids used to sing during choir time? Then I do not know who sang the song. Later in life only I found out, it is a Doris Day song.

There are times that I felt, that I have made (very) wrong decisions in life, make costly mistakes, but I rarely (if never) regretted the choice I have made.

Anyway, recently a friend (M)start talking about life and death, asked me if life can be any different? Will he find happiness ever after? I cannot give a straight answer or even a maybe.

The lyric of whatever will be, will be.... echoed in my head. Yes.. whatever will happen, will happen. I leave it at that.

QUE SERA SERA.

When I was just a little girl
I asked my mother
What will I be
Will I be pretty
Will I be rich
Here's what she said to me

Que sera, sera
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours to see
Que sera, sera
What will be, will be

When I grew up and fell in love
I asked my sweetheart
What lies ahead
Will we have rainbows
Day after day
Here's what my sweetheart said

Que sera, sera
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours to see
Que sera, sera
What will be, will be

Now I have Children of my own
They ask their mother
What will I be
Will I be handsome
Will I be rich
I tell them tenderly

Que sera, sera
Whatever will be, will be
The future's not ours to see
Que sera, sera
What will be, will be
Que Sera, Sera
