Today, I had the privilige to visit a colleague with cancer relapsed (after two years). She is undergoing chemo until August. From the outside, she looked strong and healthy, but inside who knows.
She is lucky to have a loving family to take care of her.
(bro and sis in law and two nephews who dotted on her!)
Our visit seems to cheer her up too. Well whatever small little thing we can do to ease one pain is worth all the trouble.
Our office manage to collect RM10,000 but it only covers 5 chemo treatments in HUKM... its expensive but going to private will cost more.
So kids, no Chilli's for you this weekend and also three trips to KFC/McDonald as your share was contributed to her funds. Though will still take you out to Udang Yayi on Friday...
