Journey to Penang - New Year 2006

Drive up to Penang with mom, and the two kids in my Super Kancil. No picture as all images taken by the super camera sudah hilang..(Sudah jumpa.. so skrg ada picture la -- added Friday 6hb January 2006)

Anyway, Friday drive to Ipoh.. looking for Mom's friend Kak Chik. It's like more than ten years they haven't met.

Then continue to Penang,reached Penang at five thirty, hahah sempat pergi hazrita dental to get some stuff, next to Intang's place.



Intan's baby boy ..ehsan wafi.. oops wafi remind me of someone that I don't want to be constantly reminded with.. but ehsan look so calm.. The two kids become buddies with Ariff. Such a nice boy allowing the boys to take turns playing computer games.

The next day, bought breakfast at kayu... roti canai jugak.. then settle some of my things (bank!). Leave intan place about twelve, then go to visit relatives at botanical garden.. the monkees.. buy bananas and kacang for them. In the middle of feeding baru perasan notis not to feed the monkeys.. Wehhh! I am no law abiding citizen la

Singgah chow rasta to buy jeruk RM36 and like dapat four kilos of mangga, betik, and nutmeg jeruk.. including pistachio nuts. RAsa cheap..this one kira on me la..

Noon we drive to sg petani, for traditional food. The stall offer like more than twenty choices of lauk pauk. Mom takes masak lemak telur ikan plus other things. I take kacang panjang, paru-paru goreng and sotong sambal. the kids makan nasik ayam. For desert i take ice kacang (yess!! bye bye diet) And the bill come up only to RM17.60.. i even tapau some lung goreng lagi... Its dirt cheap. Mom pay lagi la....

Around six pm reached jitra.. at noya's new place. Night makan at one thai gerai. Cheap but food is lousy. tasteless. Meals including one siakap bakar plus other things come up to RM41 only.. Thanks Noya for footing up the bill.

Midnight new year... fireworks.. I thought kedah don't declare new year as holiday but they do have monster firework display... (the next morning.. mom told me she was scared being near to Thailand, that the thai has serang us ..hahahhaa u want to cry or not?)

Morning on the way back, stop at muzium padi..


A very big buffalo at teh muzium padi... I guess it weigh more than 300kg



Then to Pekan Rabu Alor Setar, then to kepala batas for the usual ikan bakar.. sotong bakar, ikan terubuk bakar, ayam bakar, plus lauk pauk.. bill only RM50... HEHEHE who pays.. if travel by mom, mestilah mom yang pay..

Four pm reach taiping intersection, and decided to go and pergi zoo.. Its raining heavily but tickets have been bought even the train ticket, mom stay in the car.. Taiping zoo is nice and fun to look at. we didn't stay for the night zoo. The kids want to come again.... sorry!!! tak boleh ... they all banyak lemak already.

Oh ada function there then... we guess a tuntung punya berat.. . i guess its about 133 kg... stupid me, if the tuntung is 133kg it must be bigger then me.. turn out the tuntung is only 40++ aje... we pay one dollar to guess, and in return we get a zoo taiping pen which worth rm4, should have entered more laaaa what is rm1 kan?

Trying to find the highway from Taiping.. eheheh sesat lalu jalan lama... its like after seven all dark. Keluar highway at kuala kangsar.. stop at tapah for makan, and continue journwy back to kl.. Reach home at 11.30pm, that was nearly fourteen hours after we left jitra at 9 am.

Verdict.. tiring but fun.....

Journey to Johor - Christmas Weekend 2005

Christmas day, we (adik, mom, body and me) went to Johor.. balik Wednesday.. gue kena amik EL hahaha Stay at Mutiara, and I pigged out on the beef bacon time breakfast... yummy and off course the diet goes down the drain...

Stop at Pagoh rest area .. mak aii lalat... we literally have to brush aside the flies while eating... Gross? habis jugak fried chicken yang paling tak sedap di dunia ....


Body eating his second icecream, the first icecream dropped on the lalat infected floor.


Went to Danga Bay, queue for nearly half an hour for the Tallest icecream in Malaysia. RM3.50... taste like kelapa, even Body don't want to finished it.. Buang la jawapnya..


Mom.. among batik sold at Bukit Tinggi...




Went to Kukup to east seafood .. saw this big prawn thing! Body, scared to near this ugly looking structure of a big prawn.. A signage for parking cap udang..


Though somebody selling tikus for meals.. apparently its a parking place called parking tikus next to parking udang.. hahaha


Ordered sotong goreng tepung.. not the normal size sotong that we are so used to eat in kl or penang. Its made of baby squid, the size of your pinkies... So the whole thing ( I bet noone bother to clean the ink or the eyes) goes inside the mouth sekali gus..

One Utama Outing - Mummy the Return

Hooray Hooray it a holly holiday!

Still don't know if Boss will approved of my leave. I'm applying for this Friday and next Tuesday. If approved, five days break.. Also apply for next Friday. Logic or not to hope Boss will approved everyone leave application. Unless I am the last one applying .. so have to jaga ofis.

But then, even if we are on leave, we still have lots ok not lots but tons of work to be completed.... Tommorow will know approved or not.

My Plan
Christmas weekend .. Johor (if going, mom can sponsor tol and petrol)
New Year weekend .. Kelantan (asked Chah and Kem to sponsor everything) or Penang (Cost on my own, no sponsor.. but can party a bit kan!!!)

Karaoke

Karaokeing tonight at Redbox Sg Wang.. End up joining as member. Weekend non member has to pay RM40 per head, but to become a member u pay RM50 and get the next visit free. Might as well become a member. The buffet was so so only.

I have to admit that i am tone deaf.
Ruining songs. I will try to memorize more of fauziah latif songs. I think I can sing DIA well hehehe and Ramlah Ram. Pathetic but what can one do.

Pearls! Pearls! Pearls

Today and yesterday, I've been busy with Chinese trade delegates in PWTC. Hehehe buys haggling for lowest price. Think the chinese guy probably thought I am hitting on him as I keep on coming back to buy stuffs. Oh it was fresh water pearl. Price wise is affordable for me.. So bought some yesterday, brought it back..... show adik.. got a good lecture on economics from mom.. IGNORE her advice not to overspend.. Come back to work today and buy somemore for Adik.

Below, model with the strands of pearl that she managed to haggle until very very cheap! kira harga potong leher ayam laaaaaa. First day this thing will go at RM100, second day RM80. Today it was RM50. But i managed to squeeze this out of the seller hand for RM30. This will be my ala Camelia assesories (oh my gosh! when will dress like her one!!!!! wait and see laaaa )



There's more too.. like at the herb store .. they have DRIED KATAK.. I almost jump and scream.. geliiiiiiiii. Hard to describe .. its like the katak has been mummified, still retained the greenish skin and red tone.. heiii geliiiii

One shop clear all his alumnium foil, selling five for RM5, and gave me free gifts of mugs somemore. hehehe BUY! BUY! later hide from Mom laaaaa or bring back one item at a time every other day.. (Idea! idea.. pinjam from Chia, everytime go shopping sorok kat almari kasut, in case mother in law tahu dia pergi shooping free aje dapat lecture!!!)

Reporting from Lot 2##7-3 - Snatch Thief

6.30 am commotion outside the house. (Me still sleeping) Minie Mouse (our Indon helper) go outside and intai and saw one girl crying for help. MM then told my mom, and the noise woke me up.. (lama la jugak)..

Apparently a guy come from behind and try to snatch her bag, and then hit the girl face with a stick (kayu block?? don't know) So she was hurt (bloody face.. don't know how teruk she kena) and scared as the guy (small built) threaten to come again.

I call the police. They said they will come asap. By 7.15 tak datang jugak. so i go and mandi to get ready. They police arrived while I was getting ready to go to work. They probabably take the statement from the girl, her landlord took her to see a doctor...

Mom then kata from now on, the gate have to be locked at all time. In case the snatch thief marked on us as we call the police. hehehehe

so friend. if i cannot go out late at night.. you know la why..

Mamat Perasan

Kat ofis ni ada satu mamat yang perasan diri dia macho.... First meeting baru-baru ni aku tak sempat nak observe kemachoannya sebab aku tengah gelabah nak buat budget... Dah tu berpeluh-peluh. Mamat ni tengok gue, gue senyum ala ikhlas tak ikhlas aje la...

Second meeting, batu gue perasan lak mamat ni ek semacam aje...Rupa nampak ganas..brutal.. Control macho giler. Konon dia cool la, dengan sun glasses on 24 jam... ish! ish! Naik cuak aku menengoknya strutting his stuff.. Confirm.. satu mamat perasan.

Tapi tersentuh jugak hati ni sebab ingatkan dia ek lebih-lebih aje.... sampai aku takut nak cakap dengan dia. Ghupanya prihatin gak mamat ni, gue mintak sth. kat someone, staff tu kata tak de. Jauh gak jarak dia dari tempat tu, tapi dia senyap-senyap ambik benda tu bagi aku... So terpaksala aku kat tima kacih....

So moral of the story, aku tak leh lah nak menyampah sangat kat mamat perasan ni. Can dapat kepentingan nanti... hahaha

All work and no play make me stressful

Haiya.. looking at my last posting.. more than two weeks I did not update my posting.

So what's new...
Berat badan bertambah..tak lah banyak but body tak setone dulu (hahahha as if la its tru) from hariraya do, open house here and there.. Then got training somemore.. Sure got makan-makan one, so eat somemore...

Still didn't take rice, but all kuih, kentang I took over the period of one half month period after raya. So from now on I will start my pantang la.

So today, I'm redoing my two days of eggs only meal plus WATER WATER WATER 3 litre of cold water. But wednesday ada makan-makan .steamboat at kak long. Hopefully by then the indicator will turn pink, so i can makan meat.
